Postcards from Julian Alps

Posted on Categories Slovenia

I only have one regret about my trip to Slovenia. I should have packed my hiking boots and spent more time in the mountains. I only had two days to spend wandering around Bled and Bohinj Lakes, discovering Vintgar Gorge and enjoying the views from Vogel. Honestly I could have spent the entire week just there.

I’ve noticed that most of visitors only heads to Bled where they eat the famous crème cake, and take a boat ride topped with tons of selfies. Honestly, I don’t get this. I mean, I know Bled is a truly picture perfect kind of location, but Bohinj is so much more. I could talk like this for hours, but I guess images will do a better job. Let’s go get impressed.
